Sumire Leaves Boruto’s Main Cast

Recently, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations made a big announcement stating that the anime will finally be adapting the first arc of the manga after over a hundred episodes.

The most recent character update in the series involved the addition of a new samurai character, Tsubaki, after Sumire decided to abandon her training.

Now it seems like Boruto: Naruto Next Generations have removed Sumire from the ending title as well. Earlier, the ending featured all the Hidden Leaf heroes but not anymore.

This further strengthens the fact that the anime is moving closer to its manga plot as it is about to enter into the Mujina Arc.

Sumire decided to be a part of the Scientific Ninja Tool Team after hearing Boruto talk about how one should do what they love and chase their dreams. She felt motivated by Boruto’s speech, and it worked like an eye-opener for her, so she quit her shinobi training.

Although we are expecting Sumire to return sometime later in the anime considering her liking-ness among fans. So no need to feel bad if you liked her character because her new skills might come handy sometime down the storyline.
