Star Wars Ahsoka Episode Recap & Speculation: Anakin Darth Vader

This week’s episode of Ahsoka is like an oasis for Star Wars fans after a long stretch of barren desert. After insane levels of anticipation and hype, Admiral Thrawn and Ezra Bridger finally make their grandiose entrance into the Star Wars saga!

The episode also reveals the true nature of Peridea, which turns out to be the ancient home of the Dathomiri, a race of Force-sensitive witches who practice a dark form of magic known as Nightsister Magick. The planet is also where the Purrgil come to die when they reach the end of their lifespan. The Purrgil bones form a ring around the planet, creating a natural barrier that protects it from intruders.

The episode ends with Thrawn and Ezra arriving on Peridea in a Chiss Ascendancy cruiser, accompanied by several Noghri warriors, a species of deadly assassins who serve Thrawn. Thrawn greets Skoll and Elsbeth as allies, while Ezra remains silent.

So, what can we expect from next week’s episode of Ahsoka? Let’s find out!

1. Episode 7 Synopsis/Speculation

In episode 7, Ahsoka will finally arrive on Peridea with Huyang. They will use the Purrgil to bypass the bone ring and land on the planet. Ahsoka will surely sense Ezra’s presence through the Force and try her best to find him.

Meanwhile, Sabine will escape from her cell with the help of Shin Hati, one of Skoll’s former allies who betrayed him and joined Sabine’s side. They will encounter Ahsoka and Huyang and join forces with them.

Ezra will finally reveal his true allegiance to Ahsoka and Sabine. I think he has been working undercover as Thrawn’s apprentice, pretending to be loyal to him while secretly sabotaging his operations.

Meanwhile, Thrawn will go all-out and use Peridea as a base to attack the main Star Wars galaxy. His titanic Chimaera will be stacked with Noghri warriors and those loyal to him, and it will be a march of utter doom!

The episode will surely end with Ahsoka facing off against the Grand Admiral. It will be a clash of titans, and Anakin Skywalker should make another cameo in the last two episodes.

Thrawn will try to use Ahsoka’s weakness for Anakin to his advantage. What side will the Darth Vader be on?

Elsewhere, Sabine, Ezra, Huyang, and Shin Hati will face off against Elsbeth, Skoll, the Great Mothers, the Noghri, and their forces in epic side battles to make the episode as action-packed as possible!

The episode will end mid-battle in an epic cliffhanger (appearance of Anakin, for instance) and will carry forward to episode 8, i.e., the season finale! It’s going to be a blast of intergalactic proportions!

In this week’s episode, the Eye of Sion reaches the long-lost Peridea. Elsbeth and her companions, Skoll, Hati, and Wren, are greeted by the Great Mothers, powerful Nightsisters who have joined forces with Thrawn. They await the arrival of the Grand Admiral, who has promised to help them in their quest.

Skoll shares his vision with Hati, telling him how he sees the Jedi’s fall and the Empire’s rise as part of a natural cycle and how he hopes that Thrawn will help them break free from it. Thrawn finally arrives with his mighty flagship, the Chimaera, and keeps his word by giving Wren supplies and information on where to find Bridger.

Wren departs, but Thrawn secretly orders Skoll and Hati to follow her and kill both her and Bridger. He then confesses to Elsbeth that his true motive was to escape his exile.

Wren survives an attack by bandits and meets the Noti, the native people of Peridea. She follows them to their village, where she is reunited with Bridger.

The Great Mothers alert Thrawn that a Jedi is coming with the Purrgil. Thrawn realizes that Ahsoka is still alive and demands to know everything about her from Elsbeth. He also asks the Great Mothers to assist him in his plan.

6. About Ahsoka

Ahsoka is an American limited series developed by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni for Disney+.

It is part of the Star Wars franchise and a spin-off from the series The Mandalorian, taking place in the same timeframe as that series and its other interconnected spin-offs after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983), while also serving as a continuation to the animated series Star Wars Rebels.

The series follows Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to the galaxy following the fall of the Empire.
