Stand My Heroes OVA Reveals New Cast Members And Summer 2023 Premiere
On December 13, the official website for the Stand My Heroes: Warmth Of Memories OVA revealed that the anime will debut early next summer. The website revealed that Haruki Ishiya will play Taichi Masuhara.
The OVA will have a preview screening on January 28 at Shinjuku Piccadilly and other theaters. Cast members Ishiya, Hiro Shimono(Hikaru Kawai), Kenn (Shion Hinata), and Misato Murai(Rei Izumi) will all be present at the main screening at Piccadilly.
The anime is being directed by Hitomi Ezoe at M.S.C Studio. Sayaka Harada will be overseeing scripts, with Hajime Aida credited as scenario advisor. Yukie Takayama will be the character designer and the band Fox Capture Plan will be composing the music for the series.
The otome puzzle game that the anime is based on, is set in modern Tokyo at Matori, the narcotics control unit of investigators under the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare.
The protagonist of the game has the unique trait of drugs having no effect on her and ends up working in the unit. She recruits personnel to form teams of modern ikemen heroes for different missions.
The OVA adapts the Narumi Seo character event map story that launched in then original game in April 2018.
The smartphone game was previously adapted into a television anime as well, which premiered in October 2019.
The game launched in 2016 and has had more than 1 million downloads.
