Drugs are a serious issue in both the real and anime world, and Stand My Heroes is entirely dedicated to this problem. From creating a special unit STAND for the case to carefully putting up a team to work on it, this anime aims to spread awareness with some action.
The anime is adapted from a popular otome game of the same name where the protagonist Rei is assigned to recruit people for STAND. Despite being a novice, Rei is put up for this task as she is immune to most, if not all, drugs.
Stand My Heroes anime left us all feeling empty, so the franchise decided to give us the ‘Stand My Heroes: Warmth of Memories’ OVA as a treat. The OVA is slated to come out in 2023.
