It was a hilarious episode. Yuri and Anya’s dynamic was something really enjoyable. However, at the end of the day, even Yuri got frustrated with Anya’s dumbness and left before finishing teaching her.
The episode’s second half was about Loid’s mission to get Anya to pass the midterm exam. His mission wasn’t easy as he met a stupid spy during the mission who did everything a spy shouldn’t do. Still, Anya’s performance really surprised Loid in a good way.

Anya might get Desmond into trouble in episode 19 of Spy x Family, “A Revenge Plot Against Desmond/Mama Becomes the Wind.”
Seems like the next episode will be a run-of-the-mill episode. However, we will be looking into Desmond’s character and knowing his inner thoughts. One of the students from Anya’s class will blame Desmond’s family for his misery, and it will be quite disheartening to watch all that happen.
Yor seems to be on a mission of her own. Loid also looks like he is watching over someone. Let’s see what the Forget family will do in the next episode.

Episode 18 Recap
The midterm exams are about to start in two weeks. Anya is not worried about the exams as she has been studying hard. However, when she got the marks for their history test, she only got thirteen marks.
Damian, who has got ninety-one, teases Anya for getting such a low score. She attends extra classes. While going home, she notices the full moon and asks Loid when the new moon will show up. Loid says in about two weeks.
It is revealed that once a month, during the eclipse, Anya loses her powers, and that will happen on the day of the exam. So Anya will not be able to cheat. She worries but forgets about it after eating good food and a night of peaceful sleep.
When she wakes up the next day, she starts to panic about the exams. Yor has called Yuri to teach Anya. He shows up, and he and Anya don’t seem to get along.
Yuri doesn’t like Anya because she spends ample time with Yor. Yor wants Yuri to do well as she doesn’t want Anya to get expelled. Yuri is overwhelmed by Yor’s request. Anya also wants to study hard, and Yor thinks of her as a good kid.
They both start to study. Yuri motivates Anya a lot and tells her about the benefits of studying. They both get ahead of themselves and decide to study hard. However, even after an exhausting lesson in language, Anya still hasn’t learned anything.
Yuri gets frustrated and leaves but not before eating Yor’s handmade cakes. Anya realizes how important it is for her to learn, so she goes into her room to study.
When Loid returns, he finds out they have been studying a subject that’s not even coming in the exam. Anya is confident on the day of the exam. The exam is over, and it is time to get the results.
Loid has zero trust in Anya, so he decides to infiltrate the school and swap to ensure that Anya passes the exam. Inside the school, Loid finds someone else trying to do the same.
The other person is Daybreak, and he is doing the work for an employer. Twilight inspires him, so he keeps a similar name. Loid is quite impressed with Daybreak’s skills.
However, Twilight soon realizes that Daybreak is a complete joke. Daybreak is about to get caught when Loid shows up with a spare ID and helps him enter the building with the answer sheets.
Loid confirms that Daybreak is a spy. Daybreak messes up the pattern to open the gate, so when Loid opens it, he hits him on his head and enters the room, but Loid is still conscious and is just acting.
Daybreak wants everyone to know about his work. Loid is shocked to hear his stupid words. Daybreak leaves after completing his work, leaving Loid in shock and disgust.
Loid discovers that Daybreak is there to ruin the Desmond brothers’ marks. It would pose a problem for him, so he decides to revert them back. He completes his mission.
Anya has ranked 213th, but she won’t be getting any Tonitrus bolts, and she is happy about that. Loid scolds her for just passing the exams, but he is surprised that she managed to pass the exam on her own.
