The dog will join the family in episode 15 of Spy x Family, “A New Family Member.”

The mission has ended successfully, but more than that, we have a new member in the dysfunctional family, a future reading dog. It has become even more interesting.

The anime has been going at a good pace for now, and the next episode looks light-hearted. We can still expect some action, as can be seen from the preview. I can’t wait to see what happens.

Episode 14 Recap

Yor steps in to save Anya from the terrorists. The terrorist sends his dog, but Yor scares him away (with that scary face). The terrorist tries to take the white dog with him but leaves him behind after seeing a public gathering around them.

Anya tells Yor about the bomb. Anya is sad that she ran away alone. Yor embraces her telling her not to do it again. Yor complaints to the police about it.

Anya sees that the dog sees the future again, and this time Loid is missing from the family photo. She sees that Loid dies in a Bomb explosion.

Anya gets worried and runs away on the dog’s back. The handler deploys the team to the location traced by their sources. The teams undergo their mission and capture the terrorists from the designated locations.

The terrorists refused to reveal anything about Keith. The handler handles the situation by torturing them with her words. Keith gets one of his dogs ready. Loid goes out with his team to search the areas.

Anya reaches the clock tower, where Loid is supposed to die. She knows that the bomb will explode when the clock goes ding-dong, but she doesn’t know how to read clocks. She takes the help of an old man for it.

Keith shows up at the clock tower, and Anya finds out that he has planted a bomb inside the building. She goes inside it and enters the room where he has planted the bomb. She knows that there are either red or blue wires in a bomb.

However, all the wires in that bomb are black. She uses ketchup to engrave a message on the door. When Loid and his man come near it, Loid reads the message, stops his man from opening the door, and finds out about the bomb.

It’s time for the minister’s speech. The intelligence service shows up at his door. Loid disguises himself as the minister and takes away the minister’s car alone. Keith followers him.

The agents try to stop Keith’s car but fail to do so. Loid outruns Keith’s dog and gets ready to shoot the dog and finish the conflict.

Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

The story follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin respectively.
