Spy x Family does not follow a particular story pattern; however, it revolves around a few central aspects. Let’s point out the topics that could be touched in the next chapter.
- Loid could get another mission that might hinder the balance between family and work, but World Peace comes first!
- We could see more of Yor Forger as she struggles with her gruesome job of assassination and the delicate role of a fake mother.
- Mission 29.1 could very well be another mission for our little spy/telepath, Anya Forger. She might try to get close to Damian and earn Stella stars.

Spy x Family Chapter 30, titled “Mission 29.1,” is set to release on Sunday, 26th July 2020. The next chapter will probably create a new situational plot to get Anya closer to Damian.
Spy x Family follows a bimonthly schedule and releases every second Sunday in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.

6. MISSION 29 Plot
The chapter starts with Anya’s entire class getting a social studies project – investigate an occupation that interests you. Anya goes to her mother, who thinks about what would happen if she took Anya on an assassination mission. We see a hilarious sequence of Anya watching an assassination go down, and eventually being entirely covered in blood.
Anya then goes to Loid, who takes her to a hospital where he works as a psychiatrist. He gives Anya a tour of his job. Anya meets Loid’s co-workers, who praise him greatly. When Loid has to go away for a short mission, Anya discovers a secret exit in his room.
She goes down the exit and causes a commotion in another room. She returns just in time for Loid’s return and doesn’t arouse suspicion.
The entire time, Anya had been taking notes from Loid’s thoughts instead of what Loid was saying, therefore most of her notes were about spies. Loid reads her notes, but she again avoids being caught because her handwriting is not readable at all!
The chapter ends with her giving a presentation about her “Spy-chiatrist” father who “beats people up to cure their minds.”
7. About Spy x Family
Spy × Family is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuya Endo in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump.
The story follows a spy who has to “build a family” to execute a mission, not realizing that the girl he adopts as a daughter and the woman he agrees to be in a fake marriage with are a mind reader and an assassin respectively.
