3. Episode 7 Recap
Sara explains why she decided to become a spy, which was primarily financial assistance for her family and not any sense of patriotic duty. However, she has had difficulty training thus far, which has caused her to develop self-doubts about her abilities. Lamplight learns from Klaus that the construction of the mansion they live in has been slowly getting worse due to their frequent attacks on him.
They choose not to attempt to repair the damage and instead concentrate their efforts on assaulting Klaus. Late at night, when Sara comes across Klaus doing the dishes, he correctly deduces that Sara has been working on the mansion’s repairs covertly during the night.
Sara explains that she doesn’t want to bother her teammates and believes she is only competent at fixing the mansion. The following day, Klaus puts Lamplight to the test in a series of trials to fix various aspects of the mansion. Sara uses her trained animals to help transport water to the rest of the crew for the final assignment, which involves washing windows on the second floor.
Sara finally musters the fortitude to persuade the crew to treat mansion maintenance seriously, despite Lamplight losing all competitions. When Sara realized that Klaus had set up the competitions to demonstrate that she had skills that the other girls lacked, she thanked him.
In the present, once the Impossible Mission is finished, Klaus contacts C, who informs him that the sniper who murdered Guido was probably a member of Serpent, the highest spy organization for the Empire.
