The third episode of Spy Classroom was one of the most exciting episodes released this week. Lamplight and Klaus infiltrate the laboratory, and in a shocking revelation, their foe is Klaus’s mentor, Guido. Guido betrayed Inferno and switched sides after betraying them.
It turns out Lamplight even kept a secret member, Erna, who acted as their trump card. Even though the mission has ended, Lamplight decides to stick with Klaus to keep learning and using his guidance. Here are the latest updates.
Episode 4 Speculation
At the end of episode 3, Lamplight decides to stick around with Klaus instead of returning to their respective academies. In the next episode, we will see more training amongst the eight members under Klaus and possibly a new mission for them to undergo.
An unknown sniper killed Guido, and the next episode could feature Klaus trying to figure out their identity. Lamplight’s new mission could have something to do with this.

Episode 3 Recap
Infiltrating the compound, Klaus and Lamplight are stopped by Guido, Klaus’ teacher, who explains that Guido had betrayed Inferno and switched sides. The Empire is already aware of their preparations because he made arrangements to bug their headquarters.
Nevertheless, Lamplight decides to strike back, but Guido soon silences them. But as Guido basks in the glow of triumph, Lily discloses that they had foreseen the possibility of a traitor within Inferno and acted accordingly, keeping a member of the Eight called Erna, who stabs Guido, a secret.
Each of the members pretended that they were just seven instead of eight. Erna was hidden in a backpack, acting as an ace.
After finding the Abyss Doll, Klaus arrives and instructs Lamplight to flee with it while he deals with Guido. Guido’s wound makes him slower than Klaus, who easily defeats him. After saving Klaus from an unknown sniper, Guido takes the shot himself and passes away before he can explain why he betrayed Inferno. He tells Klaus to “protect them this time.”
When Klaus and Lamplight return to the Din Republic, the team decides to stay together and complete their education under Klaus’ guidance rather than breaking up and going back to their various academies. They finally defeat Klaus when he is off-guard, earning his praise.
