Due to his high stats, Sung finds it difficult to level up from basic daily quests and small monsters. Therefore, Sung agrees to join Jinho’s strike team as long as they’re the only ones in the dungeon. Jinho’s dad is making large moves in the Hunter market, which raises eyebrows in the Association.

As Sung reaches the meeting point for the raid, he is surprised to find all his old party members present. Song is surprised to see that Sung has recovered from the gruesome attack at the dungeon.

2. Episode 9 Speculation

Song takes the lead once more into the D-rank dungeon with the confidence of Sung and Joohee. However, Kim and Kang are still ashamed about their actions at the dungeon and are not very involved in the raid. Moreover, the prisoners accompanying the party have everyone very stressed.

Kang Taeshik was introduced as a B-rank overseer for the prisoners and gave off a dominant personality. Kang can assess the power levels of each member very quickly and may raise suspicions at Sung since Sung is officially registered as an E-rank adventurer, so his skills will stand out.

Moreover, Joohee has not seen Sung’s new strength yet. Since the dungeon is only D-ranked, the monsters may not require Sung to show extraordinary strength. However, the prisoners will most likely be the cause of escalation.

3. Recap of Episode 8

Sung Jinwoo knows he must get stronger and level up more before facing the Castle again. However, Sung cannot abandon the Castle mission since the Elixir of Life is the only hope for his mother. Sung agrees to join Jinho’s party under one condition.

Sung wants him and Jinho to be the only members to enter the dungeons, with hired members to fill the quota. Jinho’s father talks to his son about the evolution of gates over time. The Hunter Association manages almost all the hunters in the country, and guilds have also formed as a result.

Considering the importance of the resources that only hunters can get, Jinho does not want to let guilds and the Association have a monopoly. Sung discovers new ways to level up and takes a D-rank mission from the Hunter Association.

All the adventurers who barely survived the previous raid have either given up or lost a lot of confidence. Despite being a B-rank healer, Joohee has lost faith in her abilities but doesn’t want to quit yet. Cha Hae talks to the Association about Yoojin’s offer.

Baek thinks about Jeju Island and the mission that quickly turned into a disaster. The following day, Sung leaves for his mission and is surprised to see Song. Song is glad to see Sung so healthy and fit and catches up with him about life. As the two reach the gate, the survivors of the old party are reunited.

Kim and Kang are embarrassed, knowing that they sacrificed Sung on the day of the attack. The Hunter Association briefs the group on some prisoner substitutes who will join their party as hunters for this mission. Kang Taeshik, a B-Rank hunter, will oversee the prisoners to ensure nothing goes wrong.
