2. Episode 8 Speculation

Sung and Jinho are in danger after the Dongsuk incident as they have made a powerful enemy. Hwang is a strong guild leader who knows that Dongsuk must have been murdered. As a result, Hwang will take this matter into his own hands and try to kill Jinho and Jinwoo.

However, Jinwoo has been growing exponentially stronger ever since the Secret Quest. After defeating Cerberus, Jinwoo gained a lot of levels and is nearing A-Rank strength. Since the Devil’s Castle contains the Elixir of Life, Jinwoo will focus on that quest as his primary goal.

Jinwoo’s training will most likely be interrupted by Hwang or the Hunter Association researching the dungeon incident. Due to his influence, the Hunter Association will side with Hwang, forcing Jinwoo into a tight spot.

3. Recap of Episode 7

Woo gets a report on the C-Rank dungeon that Sung escaped, and suspicions are raised since Sung was also involved in the double dungeon incident. The double dungeon had given Sung a blessing with regeneration that detoxifies all the alcohol he drinks. While sleeping, Jinwoo gets a call from Jinho.

Jinwoo meets with Jinho at a café to talk about the dungeon incident. Jinho pitches the idea of a strike team to finish twenty raids and get a guild master’s license. Since Sung wants to complete quests while laying low, both Sung and Jinho could benefit from the idea.

Sung decides that there are too many risks with Jinho’s idea and denies it. Hwang hears the news of Dongsuk’s death and investigates further into the two survivors. Jinwoo exercises with his sister the following day and monitors his quest status. The daily quest turns into a secret quest after Sung finishes double the target amount.

The secret quests give Sung a key to the Demon’s Castle, an S-Rank quest that could give him the Elixir of Life. Sung decides to brace against the danger of an S-Rank dungeon to save his mother. Sung enters the gate and finds Cerberus blocking the gates of the Castle.

Even with his blade’s special status effects, Sung can’t even slightly damage the beast. Cerberus takes out half of Sung’s HP in a single attack and knocks him around the battlefield like a plaything. Sung loses the teleportation stone and tries to find a way to survive this battle.

Sung buys a bottle of poison that hardens his skin and continues his fight against Cerberus. The special status on Cerberus wears off and Sung tries to find a weak spot. Ceberus bites down on Sung’s torso while he repeatedly stabs its eye until his blade pierces it.
