Season 2 of the Solo Leveling manhwa came out recently, with both chapter 111 and 112 releasing simultaneously. The manhwa is moving forward with the Necromancer arc from the light novel.
For those of you who don’t know much about it, without spoiling much for you guys, let me just say that we will finally get to know more about Sung Jin-Woo’s mysterious abilities and the ‘system’ which helps the hunter do so.
Pretty cool, right? Trust me; you have no idea! In the recent chapters, we saw that Sung Jin-Woo has decided to create his guild – the Ahjin guild. The guild will also include his friend and the S-ranked Hunter Cha Hae-In.
Sung Jin-Woo has also agreed to collaborate with the Knights guild as a guild master to help them in their A-rank gate raid. It is still unknown whether Jin-Woo will go through that raid or not, especially now that his sister is under attack by orcs.
Let’s discuss what could happen in chapter 118!
2. Chapter 118 Predictions & Speculation
Solo Leveling season 2 began with the Necromancer arc from the light novel.
It’s a light novel manhwa, so there is an anticipation that it will showcase the storyline of National-Level Hunters and the true identity of the ‘system.’
As for the next chapter, there are a couple of things that could happen or be revealed. Let’s begin the discussion.
1. Chapter 118 Raw Scans
Raw scans for Chapter 118 of the Solo Leveling manhwa were leaked recently.
The chapter starts with Jin-Ah and her friend scared for their lives as they face the hunter-orcs. Just when the orc raises his axe to attack the two, Jin-Woo’s high orc shadow appears and crushes his hand. (WHAT DID I TEL YOU?!)
Shadow orc beats the other one out of the park (or should I say school), and the scene zooms out – Jin Ah has three high orcs for her protection.
The webtoon shifts to the big A-ranked gate where the Knights guild and the Ahjin guild are doing their raid. The famed A-ranked-centric guild shows that their ability is no joke!
As the number of monsters increase, Sung Jin-Woo realizes that his sister is in danger, and he SCARED EVERY MONSTER TO SUBMISSION AND FLIES TO JIN-AH!!!

3. What will Jin-Woo do?
In all fairness, this issue seems to be exaggerated than what it is. We saw that the orc leader entered the classroom, but as soon as he attacks or even comes anywhere near Jin-Ah, Sung Jin-Woo’s radar will be activated by his shadows.
Once that happens, Sung Woo will either be inside or outside the A-ranked gate. Everyone knows what will happen if he’s outside – he will rush to save his sisters.
However, the big question is, what if he’s inside? Well, it’s still no big deal, Sung Jin-Woo’s shadows are already on par with S-ranked hunters, and his lower-ranked shadows are above A-ranked hunters. Even if Jin-Ah’s protector is a high orc shadow soldier, he will still be stronger than mere orcs.
The reason for that is pretty simple – these orcs are only stronger than your average humans since the gate they came out from didn’t have enough energy and went unnoticed – unless someone planted it there! In that case, things will definitely get interesting.
2. What did the lady see in Woo?
We are yet to understand what the lady saw that made her so fearful. She likely saw the system’s true identity – the mysterious Shadow Monarch, Ashborn.

4. Chapter 118 Release Date
Chapter 118 of the Solo Leveling manhwa webtoon’s season 2 has been available to stream for free since Thursday, Oct 01, 2020.
In the next chapter, we will see whether Jin-Woo rushes back to Jin-ah’s school or goes inside the humongous A-ranked gate to clear it.
Is Solo Leveling on a Break?
Solo Leveling manhwa went on a long break after its first season ended with chapter 110, and Season 2 came back with Chapters 111 and 112 on August 1, 2020.
Seeing how chapter 114 came right on time makes it unlikely that the webtoon will go on a break any soon.
5. Chapter 117 Recap
The chapter starts with the three decapacitated students lying on the flow while the narration explains the attackers – “They are naturally gifted hunters…” It explains that even if these orcs lack intelligence, they make up for it with raw strength and pure hunter instincts.
That statement is proved in the upcoming panels when the orcs slaughter high school students, block their exit paths, and whatnot. Meanwhile, Sung Jin-Woo is with the Knights guild members, ready to enter the humongous A-ranked gate.
The chapter ends with the orc leader entering the room where Jin-Woo’s little sister Jin-Ah is trapped with her classmates. Will Sung Jin-Woo notice on time? Will his shadows defeat the orcs? In any case, chapter 118 is going to be more interesting than anything we have ever seen.
6. About Solo Leveling
Solo Leveling is a South Korean novel written by Chu-Gong; it was serialized in Papyrus and later in KakaoPage and concluded with 14 volumes and 270 chapters.
Since a portal connecting our world to a world full of monsters and creatures of all kinds appeared, some people have acquired powers and hunt them: they are called hunters.
Sung Jin-Woo is the weakest of the rank E hunters and barely stronger than a normal human.
One day, he and other hunters find themselves trapped in an extremely dangerous dungeon, and only a few of them survive and manage to escape.
