Snowdrop Episode 12 Speculation

In a flashback scene, it is revealed that Su-ho was the one who saved Kang Cheong Ya’s life when she almost fell off the cliff. She promises him that she will repay him for saving her life if they were to ever meet again. Is that why she agrees to join Su-ho and Gang Moo? Will she end up betraying Su-ho?

With everyone’s eyes on Boon Ok, it seems that there will be someone else at the dorm who will betray them. Why does the cafeteria lady go missing? Is she working with the ANSP?

Su-ho and Young-ro share a tender moment together. The only remaining Northern spy tells Su-ho the two can never be together because even if he chooses to stay back in the South, their government will hunt him down and kill him. Despite their circumstances, will their love persevere? Stay tuned to find out.

Chapter 12 of the Snowdrop series has been released on Saturday, Jan 22, 2022 at 10:30 pm PDT. The chapter title has not been leaked yet.

Su-ho comes to the realization that the North isn’t going to ensure his survival. He goes down to the basement and unties Gang Moo and tells him he was right and they agree to work together to make sure everyone makes it out alive. He tells Young-ro to hide in the basement until the other spies are held down.

When Gang Moo and Su-ho are tying up Dr. Kang, they are seen by Boon Ok. She rushes out and tells one of the spies. Su-ho is able to capture him and then plays the recording of the agreement to kill the spies for his teammates. Meanwhile, Boon Ok tries to get Su-ho to release his teammates by walking in with Young-ro at gunpoint. Dr. Kang eggs her on and promises to take care of her till the end. Mrs. Pi walks in later and tells Boon Ok she’s being foolish and dares her to shoot her after pushing Young-ro out of the way. It turns out that the gun did not have any bullets.

The deputy director from the North tells the Chairman that if they don’t send the 300 million won within three days, Young-ro will be killed. Su-ho tells the students that the governments planned the hostage situation in light of the election. Boon Ok tries to betray the group again but Gang Moo catches her with Mrs. Pi’s walkie and takes it away from her.

Snowdrop is an upcoming JTBC drama written by Yoon Hyun-mi and directed by Jo Hyun-tak, the famous duo behind the popular K-drama SKY Castle. 

The show marks the debut of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, alongside Jung Hae-in, Yoo In-na, Jang Seung-jo, Kim Hye-yoon, Yoon Se-ah and Jung Yoo-jin.

Snowdrop is set in the late 1980s, during the political unrest climate in South Korea. University student Eun Young-ro (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo) finds an injured and bloody Im Soo-ho (Jung Hae-in) after he participates in pro-democratic protests. Young-ro hides him from the government in her all-girls university dorm. As love starts brewing, secrets start spilling as Soo-ho’s identity reveals to be more than just a student. 

The series will premiere on December 18, 2021 at 10:30 PM KST on JTBC and later on Disney+.
