With the first day going exactly as planned and all the events starting properly and receiving a great response from the audience, Mitsumi finds herself lost in the chaos. As she barely gets to relax and chill with any of her friends, she decides to embrace her responsibilities instead.

Shima has to perform in the class play, and although he thinks he has given up acting for good, he still puts on a spectacular show. With an audience of people, he doesn’t know, and a cast filled with his familiar classmates, he manages to perform well.

The second day of the festival will not be nearly as smooth as the first, and that is because of the new visitors that have just arrived. With Shima’s family, who are already a concerning factor due to his relationship with them, and Ririka coming to visit, chaos will ensue.

Shima likely starts messing up the play or possibly even protesting against acting at all since Ririka, as well as his mom, is here. Mitsumi will likely be the saving factor here, and she will bring him back to normal and face his past once more.

3.  Recap of Episode 11

The Tsubame West School festival starts anew with a huge turnout and a great start on the side of everyone organizing the event. The new president of the Student Council starts showing off in front of all the visitors and even ignores his actual responsibilities for the sake of flirting.

Their class play finally starts with everyone coming together for a beautiful performance, and Shima acts to the best of his ability, and the audience leaves in applause. Their play became the most popular first-year class attraction, visited by many people, including old classmates and friends.

Mitsumi feels a bit alone in the chaos and reunions that everyone has with their old friends from middle school since all her friends are exceptionally far. Mitsumi spends some time with Yuzuki, who, even though is getting a lot of attention from paintings, she mostly hates them since they don’t appreciate her work.

The girls have no time to chill and relax anymore since they’re constantly pestered by responsibilities all around the school at their clubs. Takamine and Mitsumi sit at the reception table and help out anyone who needs help navigating around the massive festival.

The second and final day is no different, with the same excitement, and Shima finds himself being begged by the drama club’s leader once again since he heard of his play. Kei and his mom also visit the event, but he gets distracted by some performances and goes away from his mom.

Eventually, being found by Mitsumi and the other girls, they have him entertained and kept there safely while they search for his mom. Shima attends the drama club leader’s play and sits through it all, much to his happiness. However, before he can hear his thoughts, he gets word that his brother got lost and was found in his class.

Shima’s mom has been remarkably calm throughout, however, and Mitsumi finds her and takes her to her class. Shima reaches the course before them, and Kei immediately starts crying and then runs to hug him while they both wait for Mom in the hallway.

4. About Skip and Loafer

Skip and Loafer is a manga by Misaki Takamatsu that was launched in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine in August 2018. An anime adaptation is set to premiere in April 2023.

The manga focuses on Mitsumi who is from a backward area in Japan and moves to Tokyo for attending high school. Sosuke is an ikemen and he meets Mitsumi on her first day at the new school. Mitsumi is focused on her career, unaware of what the big city has in store for her.

Sosuke becomes quite fond of her and they become friends. It is a cute high school-based series with light-hearted comedy.
