The once-underestimated Supinamarada! sports manga series has been reimagined and rebranded as Dogsred. With its engaging plot, dynamic characters, and stunning artwork, readers can expect to be fully immersed in the world of Dogsred. This revival is a testament to the enduring appeal of the series and its potential to captivate audiences.

Viz Media’s Shonen Jump service announced on its Twitter account that it will add Satoru Noda’s DOGSRED ice hockey manga as a simultaneously published series on Wednesday.

Dogsred manga is the recreation of his previous work, Supinamarada! Ice hockey sports manga launched on July 27 in the Weekly Young Jump. It can be noted that jersey number 66 is also the same for the characters from both the old and new manga.

The original manga Supinamarada! follows a Fifteen-year-old figure skater, Shirakawa Rou, whose mother dies in a car accident the day before his qualifying performance for the Olympic Games, shattering his dreams.

Shirakawa and his twin sister move to their grandfather’s home in Tomakomai, Hokkaido. After encountering the hockey-loving Genma brothers, he joins the school’s ice hockey team. The series follows Shirakawa as he learns and competes against rival schools in the thrilling sport of hockey.

Supinamarada! was launched by Noda in Young Jump in July 2011 and ended in November 2012.

Noda’s upcoming manga, Dogsred, is set to be an exciting new addition to his already impressive portfolio. Drawing on his previous success with Golden Kamuy, Noda is eager to reinvent and expand upon his earlier work, Supinamarada! With a refreshed art style and new narrative twists, Dogsred promises to captivate and delight readers.
