In today’s fast-paced world, people are leaning more towards e-books. It is of no surprise that mangas are also getting published online. Online publication also reaches a broader array of people.

The Shonen Jump+ app is currently going through a renewal during which different bugs in the app will be fixed and various new features will be added. It will be relaunched on 1st December after all the updates have been implemented.

The four major fields where the app is undergoing changes are:

  • A new, easier, and faster reading interface.
  • An overall new design for the app.
  • New ranking system for mangas and inclusion of a like button
  • New search tool.

The official website of Shonen Jump + will feature news articles based on the new features added to the app. However, no news has been posted yet.

Shonen Jump+ is a manga distributor app created by Shueisha. It was launched in 2014 and serves manga readers in Japan. Manga Plus is the website by Shueisha, which serves readers outside of Japan.

The app features titles from various magazines that are published under Shueisha, like Weekly Shonen Jump and others.

Over 60 titles are published on the app, and the most famous amongst them are Spy×Family, Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku, and World’s End Harem.

The Shonen Jump manga app also received a few updates earlier this week. A dark mode was added and a few other bugs were fixed. Some designs were also updated. The search bar looks neater and the overall design is now a bit tidier.
