The seventh episode of Shinobi no Ittoki was intense and extreme, as we saw a Ninja Council leading to the arrest of the Iga Chief, Ittoki’s mother. The Koga clan is getting closer and closer to their goal of defeating the Iga.

The next episode will be titled ‘Shadow and Warmth.’ According to the preview, we see some sort of ninja battle unfolding, with an army gathering. We also see Kousetsu and Tokisada rushing toward a fight on the road.

Episode 7 Recap
Yumika informed Ittoki that the mythical Iga ninja core exists and is passed down from the chief to their successor. The following morning, Kozo showed them a television documentary on African daisies. Tokisada clarified that NSC uses the broadcast as a covert means of attracting the attention of ninjas worldwide.
All the ninja chiefs from different corners gather at the Grand Ninja Council. Gashogawara explains the cause for conducting an impromptu meeting without wasting time at the Grand Ninja Council.
He states that Koga Village has broken ninja ordinances and threatened to balance the shinobi world that the NSC has protected all these years. Koga village was also accused of causing several ninja students from other clans to withdraw from the academy voluntarily.
All of the chiefs responded negatively when Gashogawara asked them to testify whether or not the Koga family had threatened their community. Yumika wanted to say something, but Kidou insisted that she and her clan were responsible for Kishinmaru’s death and told her not to.
Yumika exposed the wrongdoing of the Koga ninjas and inspired everyone with her speech, inspiring all but Enya to stand up against Koga’s oppression. Kidou is taken into custody for violating ninja rules.
The second division of the NSC’s Genji Karajishi, however, arrived out of the blue to present concrete proof that Iga village was accountable for the murder of Kishinmaru.
Genji caught everyone’s attention by describing the inbuilt advanced audio receiver that had been able to capture the sound of the killer’s ninja suit’s internal workings.
Yumika was arrested because the killer’s suit’s audio frequency matched that of Iga ninjas. Kozo and Tokisada then told Ittoki about the knowledge. The Koga ninjas were preparing to assault the Iga ninjas in another location.
Genji stabbed Gashogawara from behind after he noticed anything odd in the footage. Ittoki declares he will be the Acting Chief in his mother’s absence.
