She-Hulk Episode 5 Promises a Daredevil Appearance Soon

In the final moments of the recent episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, we finally get a hint for a Daredevil appearance in the show. A small glimpse of Matt Murdock’s signature yellow helmet at Luke’s fashion studio tells us that the character might soon make his much-awaited appearance.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows the story of Jennifer Walters, a lawyer by profession and cousin to Bruce Banner, better known as The Hulk. After an accident, she ends up having some of Bruce’s Hulk blood in her system, which awakens her inner ‘Hulkness’.

In the first five episodes, we saw Jennifer balance her professional career as a lawyer with her newfound identity as a superhero. In the recently released Episode 5, Jennifer faces the main antagonist of the series, the super-powered influencer, Titania, in court. Titania had charged Jennifer with trademark infringement over the name ‘She-Hulk’.

In Episode 5, Jennifer also visits a new stylist, Luke, who is known for making special suits for superheroes. It is in Luke’s office that we see the famed yellow helmet of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, hinting that he would soon make an appearance in the series.

The scene featured Luke putting aside a box containing Daredevil’s yellow helmet, marking it “ready for pickup”. He also said that the helmet should not have been “lying outside” as there’s a question of “client confidentiality”.

This means that Daredevil is one of Luke’s clients and will be soon making a visit to pick up his helmet. We can expect Daredevil to make an appearance in the show pretty soon, maybe in next week’s episode itself.

Now that Jennifer will also be a regular customer of Luke, we can expect her to meet Daredevil in Luke’s studio itself. So, getting a new fashion designer definitely paid off.

Despite various rumors, She-Hulk has not featured many big cameos by MCU characters in the first five episodes. Episode 2 featured a return of The Abomination, and Episode 3 gave us Wong, the Sorcerer Supreme and Master of the Mystic Arts.

However, Charlie Cox as Daredevil might have a significant role in She-Hulk, considering he also appeared in the initial trailer for the series which was released during San Diego Comic-Con 2022. It is also clear that Matt Murdock will appear in a new superhero suit, as the ending of Episode 5 already hints at.
