Jennifer visits Emil, who is back in the high-security prison. She confronts him about his recent escape from prison and how having been video recorded doing so is going to destroy his chances of getting parole. Emil explains that he was forced to leave his cell and chose to return out of his own free will.
As it turns out, Emil left the prison because Wong summoned him. News of Emil’s escape and the fact that Jennifer would be representing him spreads fast and stirs up controversy. Jennifer doesn’t want to do any press interviews despite requests pouring in and chooses to focus on her case.
A man is defrauded by a shape-shifting Asgardian Light Elf who tricked him into thinking he was dating Megan Thee Stallion. As Jennifer is learning more about this case, the conversation is interrupted by Wong teleporting into the room. Jennifer requests Wong to testify in Emil’s favor.
