Yoh and his friends face Hao and his followers while Joco is on an afterlife trip. What will Yoh and the team face as they try to handle the situation? Is Joco going to meet someone who will help him level up?

Episode 36 Recap
This episode continues with Joco facing Redseb and Seyrarm. Joco realizes the kids are after him for killing their father years back. Redseb tells Seyrarm to make Emeth attack Joco. Joco matches the speed of Emeth’s strikes.
Meanwhile, Mikihisa is wounded on the ground, and he knew professor Muntzer (Emeth) would’ve found Joco at some point. He sends Imari and Shigaraki to inform Anna and Yoh of the situation. Joco slashes off Emeth’s arm as he gets attacked.
He says he vowed not to kill anymore in the past and apologizes to the kids for what he did. Redseb, driven by revenge, states sorry isn’t going to change anything. Joco gets shot through the chest by Emeth’s beam and knows this is the end for him.
As Joco falls, Yoh appears with Ryu and catches him. Ryu takes Joco away from the scene while Yoh faces the kids and Emeth. Redseb says he will kill Yoh for he’s with Joco and interfering with their vengeance.
Yoh then asks if they felt better by killing Joco. Redseb saw that Seyrarm wasn’t back to her old self and thought it was because Yoh had interfered. He then says they’ll show the true power of the Golem. Emeth fires multiple beams that cause massive blasts.
As Yoh tries to attack Emeth, Seyrarm changes the Golem into flying mode. Amidamaru states to Yoh that an aerial attack can be unpredictable and go up to them. Emeth tries to fire another beam from its eye, but Yoh chops its neck.
Yoh mentions he can destroy the Emeth, which will cause them to fall. Redseb realizes that it would kill Seyrarm also and tries to attack Yoh. Yoh states that if Redseb chose the path of hatred, he should’ve been prepared to lose something as well.
As Redseb understands his actions are meaningless, Yoh replies there’s hope to get back. Suddenly Emeth fires a beam at Yoh from behind, causing Redseb and Yoh to fall off. Redseb is astonished the Golem changed its form to something new.
Yoh finds out that Redseb had no idea of the Golem’s true power. Later, Ryu takes the Shaft Guys and Joco to revive them. He states Gandhara saved him from death and plans to find them to save Joco and his friends. Meanwhile, Joco finds himself in a place where spirits dwell.
He gets surprised by Orona, who tells him that the place he’s at is inside the Great Spirit. All souls eventually return to the Great Spirit and dwell here, forming their own community. Orona tells Joco he’ll guide him to the grandest soul that exists in the Great Spirit.
Yoh is seen injured and tells Amidamaru he wants to use healing powers by using Over Soul. As Emeth tries to find Yoh, it gets caught by the Spirit of Fire. Hao is glad he found such great mana to consume for his ally spirit.
Redseb tells Hao to let his sister go, but Yoh tells him to run away as Hao is very dangerous. Hao’s followers start showing up one by one and corner Yoh and Redseb. Yoh and Redseb find out that the Golem is powerful due to integrated mana.
Luka says professor Muntzer possessed his daughter to control the Golem. As the Spirit of Fire tries to consume Emeth, Yoh goes in to attack. Hao finds his action petty, but then Lyserg’s angel appears and saves Emeth.
Yoh finds Ren and Horohoro with Lyserg and wonders why they came. Lyserg says he brought them here because Yoh’s words lingered on his mind.
After some thinking, Lyserg realized Yoh’s words and stated that he had to call everyone to the scene to form a true bond of friendship.
