In Episode 7, the living dolls continue with their quest to find their masters, who are locked somewhere in the maze. Meanwhile in the Shadows mansion, the higher-ups are keeping a close eye to their movements.
The Debut ceremony is nothing but an extravagance for the higher-up, and it’s Edward’s job to make the ceremony interesting. This is Edwards’s only opportunity to get distinguished, so he does everything to make things worse for the participants.
The map he provided the participants is incomplete, where some vital details are dropped intentionally to confuse them. Moreover, there’s no direct clue on the shadows’ exact location, so the only option left is to explore the whole area.
II. An Act of Kindness
Emilico and Rum follow the soot smoke and come across Patrick-sama. He is locked in a small box with not much space to breathe. She tries to free him, but the arrogant Shadow refuses to take her help.
Before leaving, Emilico offers him some fruits and flowers, that will keep him occupied till Ricky finds him. Patrick is moved to Emilico being so thoughtful, and he vows to repay this debt whenever he gets an opportunity.
III. The Three Night-watchers Team Up Again
On their way, Emilico and Rum meet Shaun, who was roaming around clueless and falling for all the traps on his way. He asks for Emilico’s assistance to solve the riddles of this map.
After examining the map carefully, they conclude that the map is incomplete, and the small marks in it show the location of their masters.
Shaun soon finds his master dwelling around in despair of getting rejected by Kate. He shows Emilico the way towards Kate’s cage, and she rushes in that direction right away.

Shadows House is a slice of life supernatural manga by Soumatou. It was first released in Weekly Young Jump in September 2018.
The anime takes us to the mysterious, western-style mansion populated by a clan of “Shadows,” who imitate the trappings of human aristocracy. The Shadows have no faces and are attended by “Living dolls.”
The story follows Emiriko, a doll who serves Living Shadow Kate. Apart from being her maid, Emiriko is expected to become Kate’s “face” once her mistress is old enough to be introduced to the other mansion residents.
