The fourth episode of Marvel’s Secret Invasion has dropped, and it has several moments that will take you on a rollercoaster ride.
The Skrulls are closer than ever to starting a nuclear war between the US and Russia, and they have a secret weapon: Super-Skrulls.
Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and his few remaining friends deal with the Skrull pandemic and some heartbreaking revelations about his Skrull wife Priscilla/Varra (Charlayne Woodard) and his near and dear ones are discovered.
The episode ends with a devastating loss for Fury, both professionally and personally.
It starts with Rhodes finding Fury in his flat and dropping a bombshell: a Skrull spy has infiltrated the US government.
Fury says he wants to reclaim his old job, but Rhodes shows him a clip of Fury shooting Maria Hill in Moscow. Fury realizes he’s been busted and makes a quick exit. He meets Talos and tells him he slipped a liquid location tracker in fake Rhodes’ drink to keep track of his whereabouts.
After meeting Fury, Rhodes greets President Ritson, who has come to England for an official visit. He gives Gravik the signal to attack Ritson’s motorcade. Fury and Talos show up just in time to save Ritson’s guards from the wrath of the Skrulls.
Finally, Gravik unleashes his secret weapon: he has infused his DNA with other superheroes, especially Groot’s.
Reinforcements from the British Government arrive just in time to back Fury and his Special Unit. Talos is hit by a bullet which makes him lose his shape-shifting powers.
They rescue the President, and Fury drives him to safety while another soldier helps Talos. However, that soldier turns out to be Gravik in disguise.
Shortly after, he kills Talos with a knife to his heart. Even with Fury gunning him down, the exponential power of Extremis makes his body heal itself right away.
The Skrulls and Gravik escape, and Fury flees with the President, leaving Talos’ body out in the open.

Secret Invasion is an upcoming television show on Disney+. It is based on the Marvel comic of the same name and will be a part of Marvel’s Phase Five.
The show will focus on Nick Fury and the alien race of the Skrulls, who have been infiltrating the Earth for years.
Cast members include Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, Colbie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Ben Mendelsohn, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, and Kingsley Ben-Adir. It will be released on June 21, 2023.
