New Promotional Video of Mashle: Season 2 Introduces Divine Visionaries

Mashle: Magic and Muscles was an amazing and unique story that created an instant buzz among the fans. It was so immensely liked that a sequel was announced almost immediately.

The antics of our beloved cream-puff head will continue in the new season. However, things might take a more serious turn in this new season. Loads of further information about the sequel have been announced, and here’s all you need to know.

Aniplex released a new promo video for the second season of Hajime Kōmoto’s Mashle: Magic and Muscles manga. A teaser visual has also been released along with the announcement. The new season will premiere in January 2024.

The brief 2-minute video starts with the narrator describing the difficulties that Mash and his friends had to endure. However, the narrator says they must go through more severe trials beginning now.

The new people they will meet are the ones who control the magic society. They are the magicians given the title of staff of God. The trailer goes on to introduce these Divine Visionaries.

It will be interesting to see the various tribulations Mash will go through. The teaser also reveals and previews Creepy Nuts’ opening theme song, “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born.”

The new key visual features Mash Burnedead as he takes center stage. While Mash is known for his expressionless face, he looks serious in this visual.

In addition to this, the fragments of the Coin, which is going to be the central theme of the season, are visible. We also see the primary antagonist of the Divine Visionary Selection Exam arc, Margarette Macaron.

The staff members from the first season will be working on the sequel as well.

The new season will cover the Shinkakusha Kōho Senbatsu Shiken-Hen (Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc). This arc is one of the longest arcs in the series and focuses on the exam that is used to find the student who becomes the newest member of the Divine Visionaries.

This is one of the more interesting arcs in the series, so add this to your watchlist if you are a fan of Mashle.

About Mashle

Mashle: Magic and Muscles is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Kōmoto. It was launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in January 2020 and ended in July 2023, with its chapters collected in 18 tankōbon volumes.

Set in a magic world, Mash Burnedead is a young man who was born without magic. In order to live a peaceful life with his adoptive grandfather, he needs to become a Divine Visionary, a title given to exceptional students from the Easton Magic Academy.

Mash goes to the magic school, despite not having any magic, and must survive by only relying on his muscles.
