The trailer and the key visual features the two characters, Nazuna and Anko, floating in the night sky with a large full moon behind them, along with the catchphrase “The night isn’t over yet.”

The director from the previous season, Tomoyuki Itamura (known for I Want to Eat Your Pancreas), will return to direct the new season at LIDEN FILMS. The rest of the staff are not yet announced.

Sora Amamiya and Gen Sato, the main voice cast from the previous season, will also return to voice Nazuna and Anko.

‘Call of the Night’ season 2 will pick up where season 1 left off and adapt the next arc of Kou and Nazuna’s conflict with Detective Uguisu. This arc was covered across volumes 6-10 of the manga.

The first five volumes were adapted in season 1. It’s reasonable to expect that season 2 will follow a similar pattern and adapt a similar amount of content.

Season 2 promises to deliver greater story content than the previous season, with emotional highs and character development. It’s reassuring to know that the director from the previous season is returning, ensuring the quality remains top-notch. Fans are eagerly anticipating more details from the staff, as the excitement is unimaginable.
