Jason Sudeikis, Cher, and More Guest Star in Scooby-Doo Animated Show

Guest stars Cher, Jason Sudeikis, Lucy Liu, and others will be going 2D for Season 2 of Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?

Scooby-Doo has found a way to keep the Mystery Inc. alive since its inception in 1969.

Its latest extension is the 2019 animated series on Boomerang, where the infamous dog and the “meddling kids” don’t let masked criminals get away with any wrongdoings.

Packaged with mysteries, the show is also ripe with guest stars, both real and fictional. Chris Paul, Whoopi Goldberg, Mark Hamill, Bill Nye, and others have appeared in the first season so far.

Fictional characters included in the show are Sherlock Holmes, Wonder Woman, Steve Urkel, and the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, among others.

Season 2 is just a day away, premiering on October 1. A newly released trailer teases the guest stars for the upcoming episodes:

If you didn’t catch all the names, you can rewind and try to spot them all—Cher, Sean Astin, Jessica Biel, Terry Bradshaw, Lucy Liu, Jason Sudeikis, and Run DMC.

Some of the guest stars not featured in the trailer but set to be part of Season 2 are Gigi Hadid, Morgan Freeman, Liza Koshy, and the late Alex Trebek. The second season seems to have more real-life personalities than fictional ones.

It’s always interesting to see how the story weaves in the guest additions. Like in one episode, Shaggy enters a poetry slam competition against Halsey, while in another, the gang spends a night in a haunted mansion with magicians Penn and Teller.

The main cast will also be reprising their voice roles: Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo and Fred, Grey Griffin as Daphne, and Kate Micucci as Betty. A special shout-out to live-action’s Shaggy, Matthew Lillard, who has been voicing the role since 2009.

While solving mysteries alongside the Scooby-Doo gang has always been fun (and reminiscent of our childhoods), the celebrity cameos are the cherry on the top! We look forward to the new season now.
