Episode 4 of Sasaki and Miyano, titled “Limit,” is the latest installment of the anime.
Sasaki’s feelings for Miyano have become quite intense, and it really shows. His friends have started to pick up on his emotions and already know that he’s head over heels for Miyano. The kouhai, on the other hand, still refuses to believe that he could have feelings for a man.
Even though Sasaki’s confession has been bothering him, he still thinks that he’s into girls because of the one crush he had on a girl in middle school.

Episode 5 Speculation
Things are getting pretty heated between Sasaki and Miyano. It looks like Sasaki has accepted his feelings for Miyano and desperately wants them to be reciprocated.
On the other hand, Miyano still had trouble processing how he felt. It is likely due to him having a crush on a girl in middle school. Even though that crush has faded away, he’s still using it as an excuse to run away from his feelings for Sasaki.
In the preview of the next episode, it looks like a face-to-face confession is about to hit Miyano, and he’ll finally be forced to confront his emotions.
I think that he’ll still find a way to misunderstand the situation because he’s insecure about his feminine features. I hope if Sasaki confesses, he makes it clear that he doesn’t think of Miyano as a girl.

Episode 4 Recap
Sasaki and Ogasawara joke around while Hirano scolds them for not dying their hair black on inspection day. The three boys have friendly banter, and suddenly, Sasaki realizes that he has only one year left with Miyano since it was his last year of high school.
Miyano greets Kuresawa as they walk to class together on the first day of their second year. Kuresawa mentions how he saw Sasaki working part-time at a bakery and chats about everything he did during the break.
Miyano zones out of their conversation, and his mind wanders back to when Sasaki’s unofficially confessed to him. Sasaki told Miyano that he liked him on their train back home, but Miyano pretended to be asleep the whole time.
The next day, the two meet on their way to school. Miyano asks his senior why he is so early, and Sasaki replies that the train is less crowded in the early hours of the day. He also remarks that he gets to see Miyano but doesn’t put his thoughts into words.
Sasaki returns Miyano the manga he borrowed from him when they reached school. He then asks him to come out with him for a bit to discuss the story.
Sasaki asks him who was the ‘seme’ or the dominant one in the manga since there weren’t any explicit scenes to make it obvious. Miyano asks him what he thought, and Sasaki replies that he pictured the black-haired character to be the ‘uke’ or the submissive one.
He goes on and explains that since Miyano always liked black-haired ukes, he pictured the same in the manga. Miyano feels bashful but likes the fact that Sasaki remembered.
The two stop in the hallway to talk more, and Miyano is pushed by a classmate. He accidentally slaps the wall behind Sasaki fiercely to stop himself from falling over. This makes both of them blush, and Miyano is once again reminded of the confession.
Sasaki floods Miyano’s mind for the rest of the day. He begins to imagine him and Sasaki in a BL situation but soon snaps out of it, thinking he likes girls. On the same day, Sasaki heads home early since he got too flustered because of how close Miyano got to him.
Miyano’s confused frenzy continues as Sasaki pulls him towards him from behind. Miyano was just talking to Ogasawara about his fujoshi girlfriend, but Sasaki mistook it for something else.
After parting ways, both Sasaki and Miyano ponder about the new feelings they experience when they’re together. The episode ends on a light note with Ogasawara crying about another fight with his girlfriend to Hirano.
Upon asking the reason behind their fight, Ogasawara explains how his partner ruined his favorite manga. Miyano overhears this and sighs to himself, thinking that she must have shown him a doujinshi.
