The staff for ‘SAND LAND: THE SERIES,’ anime revealed a new trailer and a key visual. The anime will debut on March 20, 2024, on Disney+ Star’s “STAR Anime Series” and Hulu in the U.S.
The trailer offers a sneak peek of Kroi’s “Water Carrier”.
Toward the end of the trailer, a video previews the upcoming chapter called ‘Angel’s Hero.’ The new chapter takes place in a beautiful forest, where Beelzebub encounters Meuniere, an angel without wings, and a mysterious girl named Anne, who impressively rides a motorcycle.
In the trailer, you can also hear the voices behind the characters Meuniere and Anne, respectively.

The key visual for ‘SAND LAND: THE SERIES’ features the trio of Beelzebub, Rao, and Thief, who drive a jeep, as well as key figures from the ‘Devil Prince Arc’ and ‘Angel Hero Arc.’
The first six episodes are labeled the “Akuma no Ōji” (Prince of Demons) arc and will feature footage from the anime film recut to a series format, with some additional footage.
Episodes 7-13 will be an all-new “Tenshi no Yūsha” (Angelic Heroes) arc, with the story set in a new place called “Forest Land” conceptualized by Toriyama.
The series will also feature returning cast and staff members from the film. Besides that, two new cast members will appear who are announced.

About SAND LAND
‘SAND LAND’ is a short manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine from May to August 2000 and was collected into one tankōbon volume in November 2000 by Shueisha.
A CGI anime film adaptation was released in August 2023, and an original net animation (ONA) series will be streamed worldwide on Disney+ and Hulu in Q2 2024. An action role-playing video game developed by ILCA and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment is set to be released in April 2024.
The story is set in a war-torn future where only a barren wasteland is left and a greedy king controls the water supply. It follows the demon king’s son Beelzebub, his assistant Thief, and Sheriff Rao on a quest to find a long-lost river. The trio encounters many foes on their adventurous journey, including the greedy king’s army.
