Chapter 80 of Sakamoto Days begins with Akira Akao introducing some popular JCC part-time jobs like floaters, spotters, and test subjects, with increasing order of money and danger level, respectively.

Shin realizes that the database is like an urban legend around here. Shin asks Seba about his classes and he informs him that research students don’t hersave many classes and are above undergrad students.

Shin comes to know that Seba as an undergraduate had the top graduation project in his class. He was the first student in 15 years of the weapons production department to win the Yoshimura prize. Shin was shocked as they touted Seba as a genius.

Shin was following Seba in an alley. He was shocked when he found out that he knew about the database project. Seba asked him about how he perceived the database to be in his mind.

Shin thinks of it as a book, but considering the count of students and their generations, the database will be the size of a manga cafe. Seba adds that if the database is hard to find, then it must have been digitalized, and he should ask the oldest teacher who is supposed to know about this.

Then the narrative is drawn toward a class where the teacher was taking the first lecture on how to hide aggression to become a good assassin. The teacher was blindfolded, but still, the students were unable to land a blow on him.

Shin asked him about the database, but the teacher refuses as he is not a student in his class. Shin makes a deal with him that if the teacher can land a blow on him while he is blindfolded, then he will have to speak with him. He pulled out a gun toward Shin, but Shin kicked him so hard that he collapsed to the floor.

Then a woman comes to Shin, hiding her intent, and throws him on the ground. She then informs him that she is Satoda Sensei and that the man earlier was her assistant.

The chapter concludes with Satoda saying that she remembers three fools searching for the same thing years ago.
