Saint Cecilia And Pastor Lawrence Reveals Promo Video, Visual And Cast
The official website for the anime adaptation of Hazano Kazutake‘s Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence manga released the first promotional video, key visual, and additional cast of the anime.
The cast for the anime includes Hime Sawada as Cecilia, Kaito Ishikawa as Lawrence, Haruki Ishiya as Abel, Kanna Nakamura as Hazelita, Haruka Tomatsu as Mel, Mai Nakahara as Rebecca, Makoto Koichi as Eric.
The anime is set to premiere in April 2023. It will be streamed on Crunchyroll as it airs.
The anime will be directed by Sumie Noro at Doga Kobo. Yuka Yamada is handling the series composition, with Hiromi Nakagawa as the character designer. The music composition is being done by Ruka Kawada.
Additional staff members for the anime include Chieko Nakamura as art director, Genta Makabe as color designer, Seiichi Sugiura as director of photography, Mutsumi Takemiya as editor, and Masanori Tsuchiya as sound director.
The manga’s story as described by Kodansha Publishing is:
“Saint Cecilia is beloved by the townspeople—not only is she elegant and composed, she benevolently shares her wisdom with all who seek it. That is, until the last person has left—at which point she becomes totally hopeless! Only Pastor Lawrence, is keeping the Saint put together enough to do her duties…and though she may test him, it’s all in a day’s work!”
The manga was first launched in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine R in April 2017. The series has also been serialized on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket Manga app.
