RWBY: Ice Kingdom comes to an end, and episode 12 has a little epilogue featuring a food fight in its final episode. It ended rather calmly, and I liked that it ended in such a laid-back manner. With life at Beacon returning to normal, we can speculate little about what the next season could be about.
Although I would have preferred to see more of the fight, I’m glad to see it used instead of a standard end card.
Episode 13 Speculation
Not a horrible way to wrap out the show; everyone talks, and the atmosphere is relaxed. An excellent counterpoint to how energetically charged the other episodes were.
From this point forward, Jaune’s only focus will be on having fun with his friends and working out specifically to become a stronger Team JNPR captain. Shion also suggests exploring the Remnant in search of nightmares.
Episode 13 Release Date
There won’t be an episode 13 for this anime, and if it comes, it will be the first episode of the second season. There has been no announcement about RWBY: Ice Queendom’s second season, so stay tuned to get the latest updates.

Episode 12 Recap
Episode 12 of RWBY: Ice Queendom was titled ‘Best Day Ever’. Team RWBY has just returned to their dorm since the semester has just started.
While Weiss talks about learning to support her colleagues and that Ruby had all the qualities to become a fine Huntress, Ruby recounts her initial skepticism and the lessons she had learned along the way in her letter.
On their scrolls, Yang and Blake are engaged in a game activity. After Weiss and Blake had finally reconciled, Ruby came up with the team’s motto: “Communication and empathy.”
Team RWBY, JNPR, Ozpin, and Glynda congregate in the docking area. Shion adds that they used to be able to read people’s hearts with their semblance.
Shion and the Nightmare’s resemblance increased after they came into contact, and soon, the resemblances of the teams would also grow. Ren tells Nora that Jaune will be alright despite the fact that he still lacks a semblance. Pyrrha turns to face Jaune.
Shion compliments the two teams on their work before leaving. Ruby makes a promise to them that they will excel as hunters and huntresses. Ozpin wishes Shion well but requests a private conversation with Ruby and Blake.
Ozpin greets Ruby as they enter his office and congratulates her for killing the Nightmare. Ruby, however, does not remember using her Silver Eye. Rather, she remembers being able to succeed because of the strength of friendship.
Blake’s assistance in defeating the Nightmare and her incomplete training record are mentioned by Ozpin. He asks abruptly why Blake was keeping her Faunus status a secret while carrying a bow.
According to Blake, she preferred that people saw her as a human, not a Faunus. Ozpin then inquires as to how it happened that she was present while the White Fang was in the shipyard. He cautions her that he is still a potent huntress since he suspects her of having ties to the White Fang.
Weiss informs her in public that Ozpin must have learned of her prior association with the White Fang, but Blake counters that if he had, she would have been expelled. When Weiss inquires about her plans for the White Fang after graduation, she is taken aback.
Weiss asserts that despite her inexperience, she would avoid the corrupt side of the Schnee Dust Company and eventually improve the world. When that moment comes, she will need Blake’s assistance, but she is ashamed to think back on their argument and wants Blake to forget about it as well.
