As Betty, Agent Drake, and Veronica prepare for Slaughter Con, Archie helps Tabitha in breaking Percival’s mind-control spell on the workers. Riverdale Season 6 Episode 18 Speculation
After the convention, Betty finally comes face to face with TBK. She sees him from across the window while she’s waiting for Archie and rushes into the house just in time to save her mother and brother from choking to death. She confronts TBK in the garage as he tries to tempt Betty to give in to her dark side again. She resists and shoots him instead. However, TBK’s identity is never revealed as Betty doesn’t remove his mask. Was the man in the garage really TBK?
Percival has a deadline of his own as he needs his railroad to be built before the arrival of the comet. What drastic measures will he take to resume control over the citizens of Riverdale? Stay tuned to find out!

Riverdale Season 6 Episode 17 Recap
Preparations are underway for Slaughter Con and Betty is surprised at how quickly Veronica was able to pull the event together. The gang speculates on the chances of TBK showing up to the event, considering Betty will be the center of it. Veronica expresses concerns over Betty’s safety but Betty reassures her that it’s unlikely TBK would attack her at the event as he sees the two of them as ‘kindred spirits.’ In addition to that, she would also have an agent stationed nearby.
Meanwhile, Archie tells the workers on strike that the Union will provide them with a relief fund to cover their basic living expenses. Toni tells Cheryl about her engagement and invites her to her bachelorette party. Cheryl ends up snapping at Heather when she asks how Cheryl feels about her ex’s engagement announcement. Percival uses mind control to get the workers to work on his railroad again.
Archie and Tabitha devise a solution to break Percival’s spell on the workers and they all walk out of the construction site. After the first day of the convention, Agent Drake confesses her attraction to Betty and asks her whether she and Archie have a monogamous relationship. Things take a dark turn when Betty receives a call from TBK himself during her interview segment for the convention.
