Betty, Veronica, Cheryl, and Toni each enter the annual Miss Teen Riverdale pageant; when Alice doesn’t allow Ethel to enter the pageant, the girls band together to make sure she has a fighting chance.

1. Season 7, Episode 15 Synopsis/Speculation
A showdown between Betty and Veronica has been long due this season. The two best friends have been at odds ever since Veronica found out that Betty cheated on Archie with Jughead in the past.
Since then, Veronica has been trying to get back at Betty by dating Reggie, while Betty has been struggling with her feelings for Archie. Will the pageant bring them closer together, or will it complicate things even further?
Another point of friction is between Cheryl and Minerva Marble. Cheryl has been one of the most popular contestants of the Riverdale beauty pageant since time immemorial.
However, she will face stiff competition from Minerva, who recently moved to Riverdale with a hidden agenda.
What does Minerva want from Cheryl? And how will Cheryl be affected by her presence?
Next week’s episode will shed light on this uncanny chemistry between the two former lovers.
Talking about friction, Alice will not allow Ethel Muggs to enter the pageant, according to the synopsis. Alice’s decision to not allow Ethel can be attributed to several reasons.
It could be because Alice doesn’t want to tarnish the reputation of the pageant by allowing someone to enter who has been closely associated with the Gargoyle King (in season 3).
However, more than anything, Alice is just being cruel and spiteful. Alice might not have a personal vendetta against Ethel but might simply enjoy making her feel inferior.
Finally, I am excited to see the fate of Jughead in the next episode. Jughead recently discovered that someone has been plagiarizing and selling his work to a rival publisher. Who is behind all this, and how will Jughead stop them?

This week’s episode, titled ‘Archie the Musical.’ features original songs written by the cast and crew for the first time in the history of Riverdale.
The episode is about Archie and features his journey from a football star to a rockstar to a war hero, and explores his relationship with Jughead, Betty, Veronica, and Cheryl.
However, not everyone is on board with the musical idea. Archie himself feels conflicted about his future and oscillates between various career choices.
Betty and Veronica share their feelings for each other during the rehearsals and share a kiss. Meanwhile, Cheryl’s father threatens to expose her amorous activities with Toni if she doesn’t sabotage the musical.
