We begin the second season of the anime Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu. The season 2 will continue the story from where it ended in season 1 after Emilia is announced as a candidate for becoming the Ruler of the Kingdom and Subaru chosen to be her Knight.

1. Episode 27 Title & Release Date
Episode 27 of the Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Season 2 anime, for which the title has not been revealed yet. It will be released on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.
In the next episode, we may witness Subaru along with Emilia and Crusch will try to retrieve the lost memories of Rem and Crusch, to wake Rem up from her slumber.
2. Is Re:Zero Season 2 on a Break This Week?
Episode 27 of the Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Season 2 anime will be released as per its schedule; so far, no such delay is announced. The anime comes out weekly every Wednesday.
3. Episode 27 Preview & Speculation
The preview for the next Episode 27 was not shown, nor its title revealed at the end of episode 26, but we are speculating Subaru who swore to protect Emilia and Rem will try to get back everyone’s memories about Rem by confronting Gluttony and Greed, with the help of their alliance with Crusch and everyone in her service.
4. Recap of Previous Episode 26
I. The Witch’s Cult is Back
Episode 26 is titled “Each One’s Promise”. While traveling back to the Roswaal Mansion, Subaru mentions to Emilia about Rem’s confession to him, but to his surprise, Emilia does not remember Rem. “Who is Rem?” She questions. Subaru has a bad feeling about this.
On the other road, Rem and Crusch travel in separate retainers carrying back the White Wale. Suddenly the retainers in the front are brutally destroyed. Rem carries Crusch out of there, and they come face to face with a White-haired guy standing in the middle of the road.
Talkative by nature, he gets mad when Crusch interrupts him while talking, with her attack, and so he chops off her hand with his brutal powers. Not long after another guy struts in from the back and goes on about constantly being hungry.
Rem, who is healing Crusch, enquires about who they are. The white-haired guy introduces himself as Regulus Corneas’ Sin Archbishop of Witch’s Cult representing Greed’ and the other one as Lye Batenkaitos’ Sin Archbishop of Witch’s Cult representing Gluttony.’
Upon hearing, they are from the Witch’s Cult Rem takes offensive charge at them but loses the fight.
II. Back at the mansion
Subaru learns about this incident once he reaches back to the mansion. He finds Rem in a deep slumber and Crusch along with her allies without any memories of themselves. Subaru tries to ‘Return by death’ to save Rem, but the results come out to be the same.
Puck fills in Subaru the details of how Gluttony’s powers of devouring memories of a person and about a person work.
Subaru, along with Emilia, Crusch, Felis, and Old man Wil sit down to discuss and strategize their next steps as the Witch’s Cult is now strongly getting involved after the announcement of Emilia becoming the candidate for the next ruler of the Kingdom.

The Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World anime television is an adaptation of a light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka.
The series is directed by Masaharu Watanabe and written by Masahiro Yokotani, with animation by the studio White Fox. Kyuta Sakai is serving as both character designer and as chief animation director. It follows the story of Subaru Natsuki who is a NEET and does nothing but play games.
One night, after visiting a convenience store, he is suddenly summoned to another world. With no sign of who summoned him, he soon befriends a silver-haired half-elf girl named Emilia, and her companion Puck. The second season continues from where the story left off in the first.
