As the community recites last rites, Teenie and Elora say goodbye to Mabel. Mabel feels overwhelmed and rushes out and breaks down in tears. She sees her grandmother’s spirit, who jokingly tells her not to sell her dish set before walking away.

Reservation Dogs Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
The community gathers in support as Elora sits next to her grandmother, Mabel on her death bed. The house is full of people from the community and eventually, Bear and the rest of the group show up. After a long time being away, Elora’s aunt Teenie also arrives at the house.
Teenie is surprised to meet Elora and remarks that she looks just like her mother. She hadn’t returned to the town ever since Cookie’s death. By this time even Jackie shows up and the rest of the gang is not happy to see her.
As everyone gathers for a meal, Elora asks Cheese to say a prayer. Later that day, Teenie and the adults share stories and Elora is surprised to learn of a time when her grandmother was nice. Bear has another encounter with the warrior spirit who encourages him to comfort Elora. The next morning, Mabel passes away.
