‘Rent-A-Girlfriend’ season was a total tearjerker, with fans becoming overwhelmed after learning the cause for Mizuhara’s unshakable dedication towards her goad. In the last moments of the season, it was revealed that Kazuya was working hard on the crowdfunding project and learning everything there was to know about filmmaking.
Mizuhara clearly liked Kazuya as a friend during the season. However, it was shown in the finale that Mizuhara began to fall for Kazuya when she questioned herself about why her face turned all red when she was talking to him, which left fans starving for season 3.
On Friday, the staff of Reiji Miyajima’s Rent-A-Girlfriend (Kanojo, Okarishimasu) anime revealed the third season’s full promotional video and major key visual, as well as four more returning cast members. Season 3 is set to premiere on July 7, 2023.
The new promo previews the bridge from halca’s opening theme song “Renai Milli-Film” (Love Millimeter Film).
Season 3 is expected to cover the famous Rental Girlfriend’s Dream Arc, where Kazuya and Chizuru try to make a movie. With Chizuru’s grandma running out of time, they want her to see Chizuru fulfill her dream of becoming a professional actress before it’s too late.

‘Rent-A-Girlfriend’ is just a few weeks away, and believe me when I say that this season will be one of the most emotional and heartwarming seasons compared to the previous two seasons.

Rent-A-Girlfriend, also known as Kanojo, Okarishimasu, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since July 2017 and has been compiled into thirty volumes as of February 2023.
A spinoff manga “Rent-A-(Really Shy!)-Girlfriend” which focuses on the character Sumi is also in serialization since June 21, 2020. An anime television series adaptation by TMS Entertainment premiered in July 2020 in the Animeism block.
Kazuya Kinoshita is dumped by his girlfriend, Mami Nanami, after dating for about a month. He then decides to use an online app to rent a girlfriend named Chizuru Mizuhara, a beautiful and attractive girl.
The story moves on as their lives become complicated and entangled with each other. Later, other girls from the girlfriend business also join in dating and showing interest in Kazuya.
