Rent-a-girlfriend anime is one of the most popular series in the rom-com genre. The story revolves around Kazuya’s complicated relationships with his rental girlfriend and other girls he meets. The series’ story will now expand in season 3 of the anime. On Sunday, the official website for the anime adaptation of Reiji Miyajima’s Rent-a-Girlfriend manga revealed a teaser promotional video for the anime’s third season. The teaser reveals the new character, Mini Yaemori, a cosplayer at the same university as Kazuya and Chizuru.
Yu Serizawa will voice mini Yaemori, and in the trailer, we can see that Mini has an optimistic and rather childish personality. She lets her curiosity get the best of her and will act on impulse. She also tends to get caught up in the moment and say things bluntly, to the point of being rude.
Furthermore, the official website of the series also revealed a key visual with all the heroines together.

Meanwhile, the staff that has worked on the previous season of the series is also returning, with one change Shin’ya Une (Rent-A-Girlfriend episode director) is replacing Kazuomi Koga to direct the new season at TMS Entertainment (in collaboration with Studio Comet).

Rent-A-Girlfriend, also known as Kanojo, Okarishimasu, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since July 2017 and has been compiled into thirty volumes as of February 2023.
A spinoff manga “Rent-A-(Really Shy!)-Girlfriend” which focuses on the character Sumi is also in serialization since June 21, 2020. An anime television series adaptation by TMS Entertainment premiered in July 2020 in the Animeism block.
Kazuya Kinoshita is dumped by his girlfriend, Mami Nanami, after dating for about a month. He then decides to use an online app to rent a girlfriend named Chizuru Mizuhara, a beautiful and attractive girl.
