Rent a Girlfriend Season 2 Brings Back the Charm of Chizuru Mizuhara in 2022

In life we meet many people, but the one who ends up staying often turns out to be the one you least expected to. Something similar happens to Kazuya when his rental girlfriend, Chizuru, becomes a vital part of his life.

If you have watched the first season, you know exactly why Chizuru is the perfect ‘waifu’ material. Apart from her charming appearance, she has a kinder side which pushes her to help the people in need.

We can’t wait to see if the divine girl ends up with our hopeless protagonist, who keeps on ruining all his opportunities. However, it seems we have to wait for quite a few months before seeing more of Chizuru Mizuhara.

Rent a Girlfriend franchise announced at its “Event to Kanojo -EveKano-” event that Season 2 of its anime adaptation will premiere in 2022.

[Thank you for the special event! Thank you to everyone who participated in “Event to Kanojo -EveKano-“!

The exact release date has not been released yet, and we expect that the franchise will come up with a trailer video soon in 2021.

Since the release date is much later than what we anticipated, fans wonder if there’s a change in its cast members.

But let me assure you that all the voice actors will be reprising their roles in the new season.

In season 1, we witnessed how Kazuya’s life changed after meeting his rental girlfriend. He started out as a complete loser and is still one more or less, but has turned more responsible and caring.

Season 2 will continue with Kazuya’s messed-up love life, where he will find difficulties in confessing his true feelings for Chizuru. Meanwhile, Ruka and Mami will make things more difficult for Kazuya and Chizuru to get along.

I think the new season will give more watch time to Sumi Sakurasawa, whom we hardly saw in the first one.She is a cute and adorable character, and I can’t wait to see her transform into a more confident rental girlfriend.

Rent a Girlfriend Anime Season 2 Premieres in 2022

In addition, the manga readers will be receiving a spinoff manga revolving around Sumi in June 2021. There’s a slim probability that the new season will cover some part or references from this spinoff manga.

If you are already bored of all these isekai centric harem series lacking a firm storyline, brighten your mood with the light-hearted and generic harem plot of Rent a Girlfriend.
