Pam & Tommy is a 2022 Hulu MA miniseries. The show is an entertaining dramatization based on the real-life events that followed when Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s sex tape got leaked and publicized, leading to quite a scandal.
Created by Robert Siegel, the show takes inspiration from the 2014 Rolling Stone article “Pam and Tommy: The Untold Story of the World’s Most Infamous Sex Tape” by Amanda Chicago Lewis,
The miniseries stars Lily James and Sebastian Stan as Pamela and Tommy, and Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, and Taylor Schilling in supporting roles.
As Pamela and Tommy try to contain their leaked sex tape, Rand Gauthier, played by Rogan, tries to get rich from its distribution.
The first three episodes of the series premiered together on February 2, 2022, while the remaining five episodes were released weekly.
The release date for the Blu-ray and DVD of Hulu’s Pam & Tommy has been revealed by Lionsgate.
A release date has been announced for Pam & Tommy on Blu-ray and DVD by Lionsgate. Blu-ray and DVD versions of the mini-series will be available for purchase on August 9, 2022.
In addition to offering the full 5 hours and 40 minutes of TV-MA drama, the disc will feature Spanish subtitles throughout and will be sold for $19.98.
In its short run on Hulu, Robert Siegel’s Pam & Tommy garnered a lot of attention and favorable reviews. The show’s stars Stan and James have praised the show’s production and commented on how incredible it was.
Nonetheless, the real-life Pam Anderson stated on record that she would never watch the show.
The popularity of Pam & Tommy will probably result in successful Blu-ray and DVD sales this summer.
While there are still a few months to go before fans can get their hands on the DVD and Blu-ray, Pam & Tommy is streaming now on Hulu.
