Romance Manga ‘Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo’ Greenlit for TV Anime

I am confident that the Isekai genre adores truck-kun and his unique ability to transfer people to another dimension. Despite the fact that we have watched numerous isekai anime, Truck-Kun never fails to disappoint us and provides some of the greatest stories out there.

With this, he has delivered yet another interesting anime, ‘Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo’ (I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History), filled with beautiful environment, loving characters, and stunning visuals.

On Wednesday, Kadokawa announced that Izumi О̄kido’s Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo (I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History) light novel series is getting a television anime. A new official website and Twitter account opened and unveiled visuals.

The new visual shows the new character design for the upcoming anime adaptation of Alicia and Duke.

Series illustrator Jyun Hayase shared a drawing to commemorate the announcement.

Akira Hoshi, who drew the manga adaptation, also shared a commemorative illustration.

О̄kido debuted the series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let’s Become Novelists) website in December 2018. О̄kido launched the light novel series with illustrator Hayase in 2020.

Hoshi launched a manga adaptation in Kadokawa’s B’s-LOG COMIC in September 2020. Kadokawa published the manga’s third compiled book volume in September 2022.

Personally, the otome genre is growing on me, and with the announcement of ‘Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo,’ anime fans like me who adore the otome and isekai genres can hardly wait for it to release.

Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo: Akuyaku Reijō ni Naru hodo Ōji no Dekiai wa Kasoku suru yō desu! (I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History) is a Japanese light novel series written by Izumi Okido and illustrated by Jyun Hayase.

As an ardent admirer of Alicia, a young, unnamed woman wishes to be her. Fortunately, a sleepy truck driver grants her wish in a bizarre twist of events—killing and consequently reincarnating her as a seven-year-old Alicia inside the game.

With sufficient knowledge of how the game plays out, “Alicia” is confident that she will go down as the greatest villainess in history as long as she endeavors to work hard. However, she soon begins to realize that escaping Alicia’s fate is not so simple as it seemed.
