Much Awaited Rebuild of Evangelion Video Previews 1st Minute Of Anime

King Amusement Creative released the first minute of the highly anticipated Evangelion: 3.0+1.11: Thrice Upon A Time (Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban), an updated version of the Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 film. The video previews the new, eye-grabbing animation style for the film.

The Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 film first opened in Japan on March 8, 2021, and ranked #1 in its opening weekend. The film had an immensely successful run as it surpassed 10 billion yen (about 74 million USD) at the Japanese box office.

Theaters were packed with Evangelion fans who were awaiting this latest edition to the Evangelion franchise since its announcement.

The film ended its theatrical run in 2021 with a bonus pamphlet featuring a similarly named “Evangelion: 3.0 (-120min.)” manga short.

The Blu-ray Disc/DVD of Evangelion: 3.0+1.11 will be released on March 8. The bonus video prologue short to Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, which is the third film in the Rebuild of Evangelion series, will be included with the home video release.

The film launched on Amazon Prime Video worldwide in August 2021. The film is available in Japanese, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Peninsular Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Korean, and English audio, as well as with subtitles in 28 languages.

About Neon Genesis Evangelion

Neon Genesis Evangelion is a Japanese anime television series produced by Gainax and Tatsunoko Production. It was directed by Hideaki Anno and broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 1995 to March 1996.

This series revolves around Shinji Ikari, who was recruited by his father to battle giant monsters (called Angels) in enormous mecha suits (called Evangelion).

Shinji has a hard time bearing this responsibility, and his inner conflict about these events leads to introspective episodes covering a range of religious and existential questions.
