During the scuffle, Yuri is injured, and as he is taking a breather, a member lunges at him with a knife. Chloe appears and defeats the man before Yuri is attacked. Chloe slaps Yuri for his irresponsibility, telling him that people like him can die.
Yuri apologizes, and Chloe does as well, realizing she went too far with him. Yuri recalls Yor pledging to get faster for his sake while he was unwell as a child. This motivates Yuri to develop his defensive abilities in evasion and blocking, which perplexes Chloe.
Yuri returns to his apartment to work out when Yor pays him an unexpected visit. Yor admits she wants to meet Yuri again and apologize for kicking him out the previous time he was injured. Yor apologizes by bringing Yuri some home cuisine. While Yuri is eating, Yor explains that the fish he appreciates was created by Loid, leading Yuri to spit it out.
In his thoughts, Yuri curses Loid and wonders whether he might find a pretext to have him imprisoned and executed, assuming Yor would not be upset when Yuri asks if she loves him, Yor stammers and decides that she despises him.
