2. Chapter 247 Raw Scans, Leaks
Higuruma sacrifices his life in the fight against Sukuna in chapter 247 of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled “The Decisive Battle in the Uninhabitated, Demon-Infested Shinjuku.
Sukuna is impressed by Higuruma’s talent. He confirms Higuruma’s name and crushes the ground beneath them. He then takes Itadori by surprise, injures him, and adds insult to injury by saying that not even a bone of him is interesting.
Higuruma and Sukuna engage in an intense hand-to-hand battle. After some panels of the fight, Sukuna crushes Higuruma under huge rubble, which causes Higuruma to lose his right arm.
As he tries to get up, Sukuna further cuts his other harm and injures his legs, making him immobile. Sukuna gets distracted by an attack from Choso, Higuruma rushes to attack Sukuna during this time, healing one of his arms and stabbing one of Sukuna’s hands with his sword.
However, Sukuna severs his arm before Higuruma can pierce it. Sukuna opens him up. Itadori shows up from behind. Looking at him, Higuruma tells him this is as far as he can go, handing the sword to Yuji.
The chapter ends as Yuji prepares to pierce Sukuna’s back.

Sukuna has isolated Higurama in the building while everyone tries to catch up. However, Higurama’s strength has been growing exponentially as he matches Sukuna’s attacks. As long as Higurama wields the Executioner’s Blade, Sukuna is at risk of his Judgement Technique.
I. Higurama’s Death
Although Higurama’s talent and growth rivals Gojo, this may be the precursor to his death. Sukuna cannot allow Higurama to hone and grow his skills and must kill him while inexperienced. Choso is already injured, and Yuuji can barely keep up with Sukuna’s speed. Higurama may be able to fend off Sukuna’s attacks for some time, but Sukuna’s superior experience and brute strength will win him this fight.

Sukuna scoffs, deciding to attack their legs next. Choso prepares to use his Piercing Blood, but Sukuna disappears. In an instant, Sukuna pierces Sukuna’s torso with his hand. Itadori manages to grab Choso’s body as he falls.
Ino attacks from the sky with Nanami’s blade. Sukuna blocks the attack but realizes that Nanami’s 7:3 Technique is imbued into the sword. Sukuna strikes back, but Ino blocks the attack with the blade. Kusakabe and Yuuji counterattack, but Sukuna reads the attack effortlessly.
Sukuna blocks and throws Higurama. Sukuna then chases after Higurama’s body while Yuuji tries to catch up. However, Yuuji can barely keep up with Sukuna’s speed. Higurama ducks into a building to stall time. The Executioner’s Sword’s Technique makes it kill anyone who is cut.
The Judgeman can separate all the souls within the body, meaning they can save Fushiguro after cutting Sukuna. Higurama wants to fulfill his role in this fight and then die after. Higurama nullifies Sukuna’s Technique using Domain Amplification. Sukuna realizes Higurama’s unbounded raw talent rivals even Gojo Satoru.
