Pochita asks if Denji wants a lot of girlfriends or maybe loads of money. However, Denji can only think of one thing after everything that happened. The dilemma that Denji has been facing for months has finally been answered in a single sentence. Denji answers, “I want to be Chainsaw Man.”
Both Denji and Nayuta are stunned by the sight of their apartment. The whole building lights up the streets in flames. Instinctively, Denji starts sprinting toward the building to save the pets. Although the flame is burning strong enough that no animal would survive, Denji clings to hope.
Before Denji can even reach the entrance, he gets tripped by a bystander. As Denji recovers and looks back, Barem stands behind him with a big grin. Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2020 and returned in July 2022 with a second part. The series also received an anime series by MAPPA.
