2. Episode 17 Speculation

Zora lies to Tara about the death of Starlia and suffers the consequences. Tara was probably caught off-guard by such a large-scale attack. The attack Starlia takes the most pride in is her silver weaponry. A direct hit, powered by all the Corps, is sure to leave an impact, if not end Tara’s life.

Tara also attacked Ragna, Garm, and Shin directly, so we don’t know if they all survived or not. They were already exhausted after killing so many dragons in a row, and the direct hit must have taken a toll on them.

3. Recap of Episode 16

Olto Zora overthinks all the possible reasons for the involvement of Crimson and Ragna with the Argentum Corps. After falling from too high up, Crimson’s limbs are all broken, but he isn’t dead.

Meanwhile, the Argentum Corps are doing their best to kill both mature and normal dragons. They close in on Olto Zora so Starlia can directly attack him, but the moment she locates him, Zora triggers something in the dragons, and they go berserk.

The move is a double-edged sword as the dragons will die, too, but they do enough damage. Starlia still chooses to attack Zora head-first, but he encounters poisonous gas. However, the sight of Starlia reminds him of Lakucia, his liege.

The moment Zora is distracted, Starlia’s tutor breaks his neck. Even though Zora does not die, Starlia’s sight makes him act deranged. Starlia realizes Zora’s real body is underground and drags him to the surface. Zora is unable to make his decision, but the forest starts acting up on its own.

Borgius, the Verdant Sea Dragon, the true ruler of the forest, has regained its power. However, Ragna, Shin, and Garm refuse to stop. Tara attacks them directly and asks Zora to find Starlia’s body. Zora lies and says that she must have died. He finds Starlia and decides to save her.

However, Starlia remembers Crimson’s words about people believing she is the second coming of Lakucia and wants her to use this against Zora. Zora offers her to join their bloodline, but Starlia attacks him instead.
