Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will premiere on HBO Max on July 28, 2022. It will have ten episodes and will end on August 18, 2022.

The Plot
Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin is a reboot of the original show, and is set in a town called Millwood. A group of teenage girls is being tormented by an unknown assailant who wants to avenge a sin committed 20 years ago.
The plot summary provided by HBO Max made it clear that we’ll be seeing fresh faces, and the story will be set in a completely new town. However, the trailer gave me a sense of familiarity and almost made me nostalgic for the original show.
At first glance, it seemed that the writers and the production designers had tried to create the same eerie vibe. I also noticed how there were more horror elements this time around.
Since the first Pretty Little Liars series came out, two spinoffs have been released, and neither of them worked for the audience. They seemed too bland and, as a result, were subsequently canceled.
But with the inclusion of ‘A’ in the new series, the screenplay and the narrative might be more exciting. I guess we just have to wait and find out.
Will the old characters appear in the reboot?
No original cast member is involved with the new reboot. Lucy Hale (Aria from the original series) confirmed this, and the plot summary states the same. The new group of teenagers includes Bailee Madison as Imogen, Chandler Kinney as Tabitha, Zaria as Faran, Malia Pyles as Minnie, and Maia Reficco as Noa.
