Powerbook IV Force Episode 4 Recap
Tommy and Gloria continue seeing each other. Jenard is still bitter about losing the match (and leadership role) to Diamond and vows to take back the power. He plots his play with Elijah, who tells him that this is going to require extreme measures. Tommy has a meeting with Liliana, who is now his partner, and tells her about his plan to take over the Yardies. He also has Liliana follow Claudia.
Claudia is making moves in the drug scene and going behind Vic’s back to expand her solo operation. Vic has plans of his own too, as he walks in on Tommy and Diamond at a diner and tells them he wants to broker a deal despite his father being against it. The three of them meet a representative of the Yardies to discuss the terms of a deal. Elijah calls them with a heads up of the police’s arrival and they rush out. Vic tells them that Detective Benningan is on his payroll and they don’t need to bother about him. Vic also confronts Tommy about sleeping with his girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Liliana is attacked by two men who demand to know where the drugs are. The goons were Serbians who have had trouble with Tommy in the past. Tommy arrives at the scene and shoots them. He realizes that the Serbians are after them and takes Liliana to Diamond’s for protection. After talking to Diamond, Tommy realizes that he was the target and not Liliana.
