Ash’s story may have come to an end in the anime of old, but the ball keeps rolling, and the Pokémon world is getting a little bigger with the announcement of a new web anime series called ‘Paldean Winds’ set in the Paldea region of the series’ ‘Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’ game.
On Tuesday’s Pokémon Presents livestream, it was revealed that the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games would get a new Pokémon: Paldean Winds anime web series, which will premiere on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on September 6.
The upcoming web series brings the latest games, Scarlet and Violet, to life in a way the fans have never seen before. A few familiar faces will no doubt be seen as fans get a peek into life at the academy in the Paldean region.
The series also appears to star three new characters, as they each try to discover what their own “treasure” is for their big project at the Academy.
The stream also revealed that “The Teal Mask,” the first part of the games’ new “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero” DLC, will launch on September 13. The trailers also introduced new Pokémon for both The Teal Mask and the second DLC part “The Indigo Disk.”
‘The Teal Mask’ will feature the new legendary Pokémon Ogrepon, and the story will revolve around a school trip to Kitakami in Part 1.
In Part 2, ‘The Indigo Disc,’ the player will become an exchange student at the Blueberry Academy and encounter the new legendary Pokémon Terapagos.
In addition, Mew is available as a Mystery Gift until September 18, and Mewtwo will be accessible in Tera Raids beginning September 1.
The Pokemon franchise has been around for decades, and it has been treating fans with so much content like the announcement of new anime web series and DLC for their latest games. I think this year is undeniably the best to be a fan of the Pokemon franchise.

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are role-playing games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. The game released on November 18, 2022, and marks the beginning of the ninth generation in the Pokemon Franchise.
