After Yoneda came up with the”creature” theory, many fans had supported him and thought that he should be the one to win.
All God candidates should work with him to destroy the false god, but now that he’s killed all those people with no remorse in the name of an experiment, we can’t be sure.
Yoneda plans to kill everyone, including himself, but Nakaumi doesn’t seem to know about his plan yet. He wanted to die all along, but now that Yoneda has presented him with that opportunity, he might back away from it. Will Yoneda succeed in killing all God candidates?

Episode 21 Recap
An announcement comes on t.v where the prime minister says that Yoneda and the God candidates will be given a safe public space where they can discuss what to do next, and the people can watch as well.
The meeting will take place on October 10. Temari doesn’t think they should discuss with Yoneda because he will never listen, and it would be best to kill him. A world without a God would be too chaotic.
Saki thinks killing Yoneda wouldn’t be correct, but Mirai says if he really wouldn’t allow anyone to become God, then he should die. Meanwhile, on Yoneda’s side, we see him and Nakaumi trekking through the forest.
They come upon a clearing within the forest with a large tree in the middle that’s surrounded by dead bodies. Nakaumi is frightened, and Yoneda tells him that it’s for science.
The tenth day of October comes, and the God candidates arrive at the stadium along with Hoshi and Yumiki. Hoshi asks Yoneda if he can remember Hoshi from school. Yoneda tells him he remembers everything.
Hoshi asks him why a guy who never wanted to displease others would wish to take God away from people who needed it. Yoneda says he was always acting in a way that would require the least bit of interaction with others and that he and Hoshi were never friends.
It is revealed that Yoneda wanted to kill all good candidates simultaneously so that no one becomes God. Those dead people in the forest were an experiment to see what time frame would be considered simultaneous enough so that no one becomes God through forfeiture.
