Episode 10 Preview & Speculation
Episode 10 will pick up right from where Episode 9 left us. Winnie interferes in the fight between Todoroki and Hawthorn, thereby saving him from getting burnt to ashes.
We will witness Winnie’s power for the very first time, and learn about her stand in the current conflict between humans and ogres. I do believe that she desires a world where humans and ogres can co-exist together.
Meanwhile, Frau and Meki will be fighting the other ogres who showed up along with Todoroki. Meki being safe and sound can be the key to calm Todoroki down and end this war for now. I wonder how he will react on finding out that he got manipulated by the higher-ups.
Episode 10 Release Date
Episode 7 of the Peach Boy Riverside anime, titled “Horror and Resentment”, has been released on Thursday, Sep 09, 2021.
Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

Episode 9 Recap
Episode 9 narrated to us the tale of the first Peach boy who brought upon peace to humankind. He was the original Kibitsu Mikoto who later passed on his powers and his name to the Mikoto we see today.
Coming to his early life, he was adopted and brought up by an old couple with negligible knowledge of how special he is. He came across a talking dog and decided to team up with it and travel together.
He continued living a very ordinary life till one day when an ogre showed up in his village and started his rampage. Despite having his own goals of searching for his real parents, he risked his life to save the villagers and ended up killing the monster quite easily.
That’s when he realized the immense power that was hidden within him, and he kept slaying every ogre that he came across. His mission was to end the conflict between ogres and humans, so he thought that killing the ogre king may serve the purpose.
However, to his surprise, he learned about the existence of an ogre far stronger than the ogre king. His name was Kishin, and sooner or later he was destined to make Mikoto pay for the mass-killing of ogres.
Later, an ogre showed up in his place and requested him to kill him before he harms his son. He narrated his story of how he fell in love with a human, got married, but sadly failed to control his ogre instincts thereby devouring the girl he loved.
Just as promised, Mikoto killed the ogre and took his son under him. He trained the child everything that he knew and treated him as his own little brother. Incidentally, that little child grew up to become the infamous ogre slayer that everyone fears.
When Kishin showed up before Mikoto for their long-awaited duel, Mikoto suffered defeat for the very first time, and he passed on his powers and his name to the ogre child that he brought up.
The new Mikoto Kibitsu is far superior to that of the original one; he took down Kishin like it was some child’s play and vowed before his dead brother that he would kill every last one of the ogres.
