Ousama Ranking: Treasure Chest Ep8 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Bebin’s journey to strength and eventually the Big Four is finally revealed in episode 7 of Ousama Ranking: Treasure Chest titled “The Big Four’s Banquet.”

Starting out on the weaker end of the army, Bebin was constantly overshadowed by the other military generals. Desperate to get stronger, he trained his body beyond its limits every day but only managed to develop strength as far as his body could handle.

Feeling as though he could not get more robust and yet still weaker than Apeas, he eventually goes to Despa for some hope. Despa managed to see through inside him, figured out his weakness, and fixed it with his iconic serpentine sword.

Here are the latest updates.

1. Episode 8 Speculation

The Big Four’s story has been explored much more than in season 1 of the anime, and we get to see each of their personalities a little more in-depth now. The story of Apeas is one of the more interesting ones since his strength has always been prominent since the start.

We may see his rise to power and position in the next episode since this focused more on Bebin and Apeas. Another possibility is focusing on Miranjo, another character with minimal background, especially her stories once she was in the kingdom.

3. Recap of Episode 7

Bebin is in talks with his two-headed snake, and they discuss who deserves the throne between the two brothers. While Bebin thinks Daida is more suited, the snake thinks Bojji will go on to save many people. In the past, Bebin had relentlessly trained day and night to catch up with everyone else in the army.

Sparring against his comrades, he continued to be outdone in terms of physical strength, even though he practiced every day with exceptional difficulty. He later decides to go into the underworld to get Despa’s help and become stronger by whatever means possible.

He manages to get through to the underworld and meet with Despa, and he spars with the captain to get an idea of his current level. He takes him into the armory and picks out a serpentine sword with waves throughout, which will take him to the next level.

Picturing a level much higher than his current strength, he manages to get stronger and attains the power to break through, even showing his strength back at the kingdom and joining the Big Four as someone who matches all of their strengths and maybe even surpasses them by little.

Under Prince Daida’s reign, the Big Four are responsible for handling the kingdom’s on-site construction. During drinks, Hokuro is also assigned to them as a scheme by Daida to try and get the four to cooperate and get along.

Each of them has their problems and arguments with one another, causing none of them to get along. A random bystander in the bar pokes fun at the Big Four as they leave and eventually challenges the lot to an arm-wrestling fight where each of them begins losing one by one.

With Bebin out of the picture, Dorshe, who holds the title of one of the physically strongest, goes up and somehow still loses. However, before Apeas can take him on, we find a secret discussion in the back rooms where it is revealed it was all just a setup by Hokuro, who hired a wrestling champion to get the Big Four to have a common enemy and bond.

The champ refuses to lose on purpose against Apeas as per the agreement since he wants to win the coins out of the Big Four instead. But he is in for a surprise against Apeas, who immediately smashes his fist into the table using the intel the four of them discovered together, a trick to the angles of the wrist.

5. About Ousama Ranking

Ōsama Ranking (Ranking of Kings) is a Japanese comedy manga series by Sōsuke Tōka. It has been serialized online via Echoes’ user-submitted Manga Hack website since May 2017. An anime television series adaptation by Wit Studio premiered in October 2021.

The story centers around Bojji, a deaf, powerless prince who cannot even wield a children’s sword. As the firstborn son, he strives hard and dreams of becoming the world’s greatest king.

However, people mutter about him behind his back as “a good-for-nothing prince” and “no way he can be king.” Bojji is able to make his first-ever friend, Kage, a literal shadow on the ground who somehow understands Bojji well.

The story follows Bojji’s coming-of-age as he meets various people in his life, starting with his fateful encounter with Kage.
